Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather: The Latest updates ahead of richest boxing match in history

We are less than 3 weeks away from what is
regarded as one of the most anticipated bouts in sporting history. Conor “The Notorious” McGregor has swapped the octagon for the ring, and has to adopt boxing rules for his first professional boxing fight against the undefeated Floyd “Money” Mayweather.

The fight will be held at the 20,000 seater
T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, 26th August. The event is expected to begin at around 4am in the UK and promises to bring pure excitement for the world of Sport.

Sky Box Office won the live rights for the
battle and are charging £19.95 for the pay-per-view event.

Is Mayweather playing mind games? Or is he
in fact quite anxious about the fight? The former pound-for-pound athlete issued a sensational claim that the Irishman is at an advantage because he’s “younger”.

The American has admitted that after being
out of the ring for two years, he’s not the fighter he used to be- claiming McGregor has the upper-hand.

“He’s a lot younger. When you look at myself and Conor McGregor on paper, he’s taller, has a longer reach, he’s a bigger man from top to bottom.

“He’s
a lot younger, so youth is on his side. And I’ve been off a couple of years.

“And
I’m in my 40s. So, if you look at everything on paper, it leans toward Conor McGregor.

“I’m
not the same fighter I was two years ago. I’m not the same fighter I was five years ago. I lost a step.”
