This is just the start! Big, big Games news! Time for Xbox vs PC vs Mobile! (Were Waiting for you now PS4)
Epic Games shared the news in a post, announcing “Fortnite will feature cross-play, cross-progression, and cross-purchase, between Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS and (in the next few months) Android.”
Earlier on this week, Epic Games announced, Fortnite Battle Royale mode is coming to both iOS and Android and will feature full cross-play support with PS4 and PC.
But what is worth knowing and noting is Play Station stance on this… There’s been no mention or intention of cross-play support between the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Fortnite.
Which is the most annoying thing, Sony has always had a resistance to cross-play support between both platforms in the past for games like Minecraft for example.
Microsoft really want this to happen, just look at this twitter thread between Xbox boss Phil Spencer and a fan!

The creator of Fortnite chimed in on the discussion too. So the real question is for SONY! What are you waiting for? Come on get it together and start the cross-platform gaming revolution.
